Common questions

Does the receptionist work if my phone is off?

Yes. It runs in the cloud, so calls are answered even when your iPhone is locked, offline or off. You'll see them in the app when you're back.

Do callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. The assistant introduces itself as your business's virtual assistant.

Are calls recorded?

No. Call recording is off. Deskli keeps the transcript and any message the caller leaves. During the call, audio is streamed live to our phone and AI providers to run the conversation.

Which calendars can the assistant book into?

Google Calendar. Connect it in the Assistant tab, choose which calendars block your availability and which one gets new appointments. Microsoft calendars are coming later.

How do I change what the assistant says about my business?

Open the Assistant tab in the app and edit your hours, services and answers to common questions.
